About
Economic freedom has lifted more people out of poverty than any other idea that humanity has conceived. In what innovative ways can we today use free enterprise to address the challenges that millions of people face in their everyday lives?
You are cordially invited to an evening in downtown San Francisco discussing these questions and more with leaders of cutting-edge nonprofits in the public policy field, hosted by San Francisco entrepreneur John Chisholm. Speakers include:
- Avik Roy, President, The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity (FREOPP)
- Zach Graves, Executive Director, Lincoln Network
- Casey Given, Executive Director, Young Voices
The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity (FREOPP) is a non-partisan, non-profit think tank expanding economic opportunity to those who least have it, using the tools of individual liberty, free enterprise, technological innovation, and pluralism. All research and advocacy conducted by FREOPP is designed to improve the lives of those with incomes or wealth below the U.S. median. FREOPP's work on reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic helped bring 53 million children back to the classroom.
Lincoln Network brings together leaders from the worlds of technology and government to converse, collaborate, and effect change. For too long, these worlds have operated in separate silos—instead of embracing the exciting opportunities that sit at the intersection of these two powerful and influential domains. Government needs, and the people it serves deserve, new ideas and technologies to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness. As such, technologists and innovators have an important role to play in addressing our nation’s most pressing problems. When both of these worlds come together, individual liberty and economic opportunity increases for all Americans.
Young Voices provides fledgling writers with the guidance needed to succeed during the most critical years of their early career. We do so by acting as a copy editor, agent, and mentor to a roster of pro-liberty writers through our cornerstone Contributors Program. Our network generates 50+ commentaries in print, online, TV, and radio every single month. On top of our public relations capabilities, our writers have exclusive access to continuing education opportunities through our program, including training and mentorship from top think tank scholars.
